Stock your freezer with premium, all-natural pork today! Our Berkshires are raised in a woodlands environment, where they enjoy the freedom to roam, graze, and sleep as nature intended. These pigs grow at their own pace, without the stress or forced growth techniques used by large corporate operations. They are unvaccinated and are supplemented with a non-GMO feed, giving you peace of mind about what you're putting on your plate.

With no pressure from the typical factory farm conditions, our pigs naturally grow to about 350 lbs. before processing, resulting in the finest quality pork that’s as healthy for you as it is for the hogs.

Price per pound is $4.55 based off the hanging weight (this does not include the butcher processing fees). Hanging weight will be determined once the meat is on the rail at the butchers and can be accurately weighed. We would like to be able to provide our customers with 200 lbs. of processed meat for a whole hog. But due to different growth rates we can expect 155-210 lbs. for a whole hog and 75 to 100 lbs. for a half a hog. 

Processing fees at the butcher can range based off the cuts of meat you select. A rough estimate on a half would be $175 and a whole around $300.

Processing Dates and Locations

-Mountain Man LLC in Reinholds, PA 

- September 12, 2025

ORDER PROCESS: 

-Place a deposit on a half or whole pig (Half a pig yields approximately 75 to 100 lbs of meat, while a whole we aim to provide 150 to 200 lbs of meat)

-Once the deposit is made, we will reach out the week of your date chosen in the drop down to complete your cut sheet

-After submitting the cut sheet, you will be contacted with a final invoice based off the hanging weight provided by the butcher

- Processing with the butcher takes approximately two weeks. Once confirmation of pickup dates are provided by the butcher, an email with pickup details will be sent out. 

-Once final payment has been made for the hog, you will also have a butcher cost. The cost for butchering is not built in due to the wide variety and range of cuts available to each individual taste. The butchering bill will be paid at the time of pickup from the butcher shop. 

 

THIS IS A DEPOSIT- You will be notified when livestock is of size for processing. You will then be prompted to complete payment.
